About Us

Empowering Education, Transforming Lives

Who We Are

The Kamsola Foundation was created by Solange Kamgaing, who was born in Cameroon, raised in France, and currently lives in the United States. She has always had the desire to return to Cameroon to develop an activity for the benefit of children. During her recent travels, she had the opportunity to visit several villages in the western part of the country. She was struck by poor condition of the school building, the lack of materials to enable children to study in good conditions, and the lack of natural resources, such as water, as each child had to bring their own water to school. In these villages, the lack of means does not allow for the payment of teachers, so it is often mothers, sometimes even pregnant ones, who volunteer to provide a minimum education for the children of the village.

At Fondation Kamsola, we are on a mission to empower children in Cameroon and transform their lives through education. We firmly believe that education is a fundamental right that should be accessible to every child, regardless of their background or circumstances. Through our dedicated efforts, we strive to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that nurtures the potential of each student.

Our organization is driven by the belief that education has the power to break the cycle of poverty and pave the way for a brighter future. We work tirelessly to support children in rural areas of Cameroon, where access to quality education is often limited. By focusing on various aspects of education, we aim to provide holistic support to these young learners.

One of our primary initiatives is school remodeling. We believe that the physical learning environment plays a crucial role in shaping students’ educational experience. Through school remodeling projects, we transform outdated and inadequate facilities into safe, inspiring, and conducive spaces for learning. From classrooms to libraries and sanitation facilities, we ensure that students have the resources they need to thrive academically.
